More than 200 schools and nearly 40,000 children to be impacted from September!

We are pleased to announce our partnership with Majesticks GC and their flagship impact programme ‘Little Sticks’.

We have come together to create four comprehensive and progressive ‘Striking and Aiming’ units of work. These brand-new units will allow schools to effectively teach golf as part of the PE curriculum, as well as providing more children with the opportunity to access the game of golf.

“We are so excited to be able to work with Majesticks GC to bring to life our brand-new golf units of work alongside their Little Sticks programme. We’ve been impressed with how Little Sticks has developed so far as an extra-curricular programme and we are excited to be able to extend this offer into Physical Education.”

Catherine Fitzpatrick, Head of Physical Education, Complete PE

At LIV Golf UK 2023, Majesticks GC launched their ‘Little Sticks’ initiative which aimed to unleash young people’s potential through golf.  The programme uses its star players; Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood, Henrik Stenson, and Sam Horsfield, to help develop life skills through a love of golf. Our collaboration with Majesticks GC now means that they have a full golf curriculum to support their ‘Little Sticks’ programme.

As part of Majesticks GC mission of creating a more inclusive and enjoyable environment for children and young people to unleash their potential through golf, Majesticks GC have committed to working with 200 more schools across the UK this academic year. It is estimated that the combination of the Little Sticks programme and our brand-new resources will have an impact on at least 40,000 children during the 2024-25 academic year.

The 200 lucky schools selected to take part in this programme will be given free equipment, powered by SNAG Golf, all the resources, and any necessary training and support they need to implement golf as part of their curriculum offer. The schools recruited (so far) strike a healthy balance between primary, secondary, and special education schools, providing children with the opportunity to learn about the game of golf, while also focusing on developing their life skills.

“Providing our partner schools with free equipment, training and resources needed to continue to deliver Little Sticks for years to come will mean our impact will be long lasting and we’re excited about the future outcomes it will have on the children accessing it.”

Jordan Stephenson, Head of Community and Impact, Majesticks GC

We’re excited to be working with Majesticks GC and hope that this combined programme means all children will be able to access the benefits of learning to play golf, and what’s even more exciting to consider, is the impact this offer can have on pupils across the country.
