Event Overview

A practical course designed to ensure that all pupils can be fully included into every PE lesson.

This workshop will:

• Provide teachers with additional support and resources to ensure every pupil is fully included in Physical Education.
• Equip teachers with a range of ideas to adapt the learning to support pupils with additional needs.

*Ellesmere Port SSP members get one free place.  £75 for schools outside the partnership.

Event Overview

This CPD day will support staff to teach high quality gymnastics and dance lessons.

During the Gymnastics workshops teachers will:

• Take part in practical sequences of learning from EYFS to year 6.
• See how apparatus can be used to support learning.
• Discuss ways to differentiate and adapt tasks to meet the needs of all pupils.

Our Dance workshop will support staff to teach dynamic and engaging dance lessons that link to the curriculum. Our dance workshop will:

• Support all primary school teachers to feel confident to enjoy teaching dance,
• Explore how movement vocabulary can develop dance,
• Use dance to celebrate and develop the whole child

This workshop is free for all schools in the Redcar & Eston School Sports Partnership.

This day of CPD is designed to support PE Subject Leaders to lead a High Quality Physical Education curriculum.

Our Subject Leaders Day will cover the following workshops:

• What Makes High Quality Physical Education?
• Leading PE
• Curriculum Design
• Assessment in PE
